Whole-cabin renovation

Whole-cabin renovation

When I first started my own business, money was tight, but i’d taken out a contractor loan and was struggling to keep up with the payments.

I gradually built the contractor and expanded.

I hired employees and found modern ways to streamline operations and draw in purchasers. I was finally able to move out of my one dining room home and buy a house, and my financial security allowed me to purchase a rather giant waterfront home. I was really excited to move in and set up my living space. I then realized I had no idea of how to go about furnishing the home. I’d always settled for secondhand furniture. My couch once belonged to my Grandmother and my recliner was purchased at a garage sale. My study room table and chairs were cast-offs from my mother and I didn’t even have a bedframe. I’d never purchased curtains or throw pillows or artwork… After shopping at the local furniture stores and not finding anything that appealed to me, I contacted a custom furniture builder, then the shop offers everything from window treatments to dressers, chairs, tables and bed frames. I was honestly relieved when a professional from the shop was willing to walk through the cabin and discuss plans and options; She was charmingly insightful and creative. She had lots of ideas for colors, styles and furnishings. She helped me to determine a type to utilize throughout the home, however because every piece of furniture was handcrafted, everything came together attractively! Every piece is sized perfectly to suit the space. Everything is not only attractive however comfortable! Plus, I’ve discovered that better quality of materials and workmanship result in more durable furniture. I can really scrub stains. There are no worries over needing to update these pieces in the near future.
